Domaine Skiable

This is the only sector of the ski area that is open all year round, and Espace Killy's highest mountain! In this section there is always ice and snow - it offers magnificent views over La Vanoise park to the South, La Grande-Motte (3,656m) and La Grande Casse (3,852m) to the West, Mont Blanc to the North and La Grande Sassière (3747m) to the East.

La Grande Motte

Directly accessible from Val Claret in Tignes, this mountain links Tignes le Lac and Val Claret. Its highest points are Col des Vés (2,840m) and Col du Palet (2,700m).

Accessible from Tignes le Lac and Val Claret in Tignes, links to Espace Killy in Val d'Isère. Its highest points are: Tovière (2,705m) and Col de Fresse (2580m).

This mountain in the north-eastern area of Espace Killy is sunny from early morning onwards, and skiers in this sector enjoy magnificent views of La Grande Sassiere (3,748m) opposite, the Chevril lake and Mont Blanc. Its highest point is L'Aiguille Percée (2,748m), a geological curiosity accessible on skis.

Explore the glacier - accessible on foot - giving access to the Ice grotto and surrounding peaks such as: La Grande Casse, La Grande Sassière, Mont Pourri, the Mont Blanc range.

Le Glacier

Located at an altitude of 3,000 m and accessible to all, this grotto in the ice takes the form of a gallery 200 metres long. Five ice sculptors offer transitional works of art in all seasons.

Aventure en hiver

This Winter, enjoy the new boardsports available in Tignes! Important information for snowboarders: the snowpark has moved; it is now on the Palet ski-lift. Pipes for beginners and advanced skiers are still at the bottom of La Grande Motte. Boardsports enthusiasts will find the glisspark on Millonex, at the bottom of Palafour. The glisspark is a sliding playground, with a mini boardercross, a parallel slalom and "whoops". Children will really enjoy the 4 sledge runs provided by Tignes: in Tignes le Lac near Le Lagon, in Val Claret in Tignes on the ballet run above Grande Motte car park, in Lavachet and Les Brevières (near the Pitots piste).

Snowpark

Tignes offers you a 5,000 sq.m area dedicated to aquatic pleasures, "Le Lagon". Enjoy all the pleasures Le Lagon has to offer: a 25-metre pool for swimmers, fun pool with water slide, leisure pool, bubble bed, whirlpool seat, geyser, waterfalls, paddling pool with mini water slide, a well-being area (with hammams, jacuzzis, saunas, fun showers and solarium), as well as gyms, weight training, stretching and dance rooms. Recreational activities to suit all tastes!

The Tignespace sports centre offers a wide range of activities, including basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, squash, climbing on an indoor wall, yoga classes, etc.

Set in La Maison de Tignes le Lac, covering an area of 400sq.m, this museum recounts the history of Tignes and its evolution from a small farming village to an internationally famous ski resort. In total: seven centuries of history revisited through photos, artefacts and personal accounts.
